Referrals
Kentucky Medical Research Center (KMRC) performs Phase II-IV clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry. Our studies adhere to strict protocol-specific procedures and are conducted per Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards under IRB approval. Potential trial participants and exclusionary are carefully screened for both their safety during the study and to ensure that they meet all inclusion, and no exclusion criteria as stated in the protocol. Participants are referred back to their regular health care provider(s) at the completion of every trial.
All participants are requested to sign a HIPAA-compliant authorization for release of their medical records to assist us in verifying their qualifications for a particular trial. With the participant written authorization, we may also discuss qualifications their participation in general terms with their health care provider. At a participant’s request, we may provide them with a copy of laboratory results obtained during the study. However, due to strict confidentiality and disclosure agreements, we are unable to discuss specific protocol and study drug details with participant’s health care providers. Information about our ongoing trials is available on our Current Studies page.
If you would like to refer a patient as a possible participant for one of our studies, please feel free to share the information available on our website or ask him/her to contact us directly. Unfortunately, due to the Privacy Rule, we are no longer able to accept identified patient referrals from providers to our studies, however we may give detailed study information to a potential participant, as well as a study-specific consent form that they may take home to consider, before they agree to participate in any of our trials.
If you would like more information about our clinical trials, please Contact Us. One of our physicians will be happy to speak with you directly.
